Create honest, mobile-friendly visual content without expensive equipment.

What you will learn

  • Photograph products and services clearly
  • Design readable promotional graphics
  • Record concise vertical video responsibly

Before you begin

Use a real business only when you have permission to manage its information. Practise with a small budget or invented campaign first. Never publish customer information, account passwords, verification codes, private tokens or payment credentials.

Take useful photographs

Clean the subject and lens, use natural light and choose an uncluttered background. Capture the front, sides, important details and any damage.

Do not hide defects or use another seller’s photographs. Remove location, identity or customer information visible in the background before posting.

Design graphics

Use a simple template with adequate contrast, one main message and enough empty space. Keep logos and contact details readable without overwhelming the offer.

Prepare the correct dimensions for each channel. Keep an editable source and export an efficient JPEG, PNG or supported format.

Make short video

Open with the result or problem, demonstrate the offer and end with a clear next step. Add captions because many viewers watch without sound.

Obtain permission before filming customers, homes or private work. Do not use music, images or clips without the necessary rights.

Guided practice

  1. Photograph one product or service from five useful angles.
  2. Create a square promotional graphic.
  3. Plan and record a fifteen-to-thirty-second captioned video.

Knowledge check

  1. Why should defects be photographed?
  2. What makes a graphic readable?
  3. Why add captions to video?

Completion standard

Continue when you can complete the guided practice and explain the knowledge-check answers in your own words.
