Terms and Conditions

These terms explain the rules for accessing and using Ligebi, including marketplace listings, service requests, games, accounts, notifications and learning content.

Last updated 14 September 2026

1 Platform role

Ligebi provides technology for discovering and listing items, finding and offering services, making requests or bookings, participating in supported games, managing accounts, receiving notifications and accessing articles or courses.

Unless a listing or booking page expressly identifies Ligebi as the supplier, sellers and service providers are independent users. Ligebi is not automatically a party to an agreement between users and does not employ, direct or endorse an independent provider merely because the provider appears on the platform.

2 Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally capable of agreeing to these terms. A minor may use transactional or account features only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian where required.

You must provide accurate registration information, protect your login credentials and notify us promptly about suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.

3 Listings and user content

A person who publishes a listing or profile must have the right to offer the item or service and must describe its identity, condition, price, location, availability and important limitations truthfully. Used or reconditioned goods must not be represented as new.

You retain responsibility for content you submit. You grant Ligebi a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, resize, format and display that content only as needed to operate, promote and improve the platform.

Do not upload unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, abusive, dangerous, misleading or privacy-invasive content. Do not advertise prohibited goods or services, impersonate another person, manipulate reviews or platform activity, or upload malware.

4 Purchases, services and fulfilment

Users must review and agree on the total price, item or service scope, payment method, timing, delivery, collection, location, cancellations and other important conditions before committing. The supplier remains responsible for performing the agreement and complying with consumer, safety, tax, licensing and other legal duties.

Inspect goods and verify identities where practical. Do not make a payment merely because someone creates urgency or asks you to leave a safer agreed process. Service customers should provide a safe and accurate work location; providers should perform only work they are competent and authorised to perform.

Any refund, repair, replacement or cancellation right depends on applicable law and the agreement with the relevant supplier. Nothing in these terms removes a consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived.

5 Games, bookings and stakes

Game availability, booking periods, prices, session rules and any permitted stakes are shown in the relevant interface and may vary. Participants must follow the displayed rules and administrator decisions used to operate a session.

Do not manipulate results, use automated play, exploit faults, harass participants or attempt unauthorised access. Where payment confirmation or payout administration is required, records remain subject to verification and correction of evident processing errors.

6 Blog and learning materials

Articles and courses provide general educational information. They are not accredited qualifications and are not substitutes for professional legal, medical, financial, safety or technical advice tailored to a particular situation.

Course material may be updated or removed. Users may read it for personal learning but may not republish substantial portions, remove ownership notices or present it as their own without permission.

7 Personal information and communications

We process account, listing, booking, order, game, device-notification and communication information as needed to provide and secure platform features. Users must use another person’s information only for the relevant transaction or service and must not harvest, sell or misuse it.

Device notifications are optional and depend on browser permission. Operational messages may be required to complete or secure a requested service. Never submit passwords, private tokens or unnecessary confidential information through public fields.

8 Moderation, suspension and availability

We may review, refuse, hide, edit for technical presentation, or remove content and may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, comply with law, protect users, investigate abuse or secure the platform.

We may change, pause or discontinue features. We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, connectivity, third-party services and events beyond reasonable control may affect availability.

9 Disclaimers and responsibility

Users remain responsible for their listings, choices, communications and agreements. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ligebi is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost opportunity, or conduct of an independent user that the platform did not direct or control.

Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections. If the platform is found liable, the nature and extent of responsibility remain subject to applicable law and the facts of the claim.

10 Law, complaints and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of The Gambia. Users should first contact Ligebi with enough detail to investigate a platform complaint. A buyer or customer should also contact the relevant seller or provider about fulfilment.

These terms do not prevent a consumer from contacting the Gambia Competition and Consumer Protection Commission or another competent authority, nor do they prevent either party from using a court or remedy available under applicable law.

11 Changes and contact

We may revise these terms to reflect legal, safety or service changes. The updated date will be shown above. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or account notifications where appropriate.

Questions may be sent through the WhatsApp contact displayed in the footer or raised at our business location in Sukuta Nema, The Gambia. Do not include passwords, private tokens or unnecessary sensitive information.
